This site ships almost no JavaScript on purpose. The glitch you see is a few keyframes of CSS; the rest is plain HTML rendered ahead of time.
Constraints I keep:
- Black is the default state, not a theme toggle.
- Colour appears rarely, and only when it means something.
- Motion is local: one element flickers, then the page is still again.
Slow is a choice someone else makes. Here, the page is already there.
